Wedding at Felstead guest house

Sean and Elizabeth from Utah came to Inverness to get married. They'd never been before, but chose Scotland as the ideal romantic location in which to start their lives together.

Shortly before their arrival, they told us of their plans, and - not knowing anyone here - asked if Anne could possibly be a witness, order some flowers, and hire a kilt for Sean?

Well we were happy to help (although it's not something we nomally do). You can see the kilt in the picture above!

On their return to Utah they very kindly sent us the following message :-

Sean and Elizabeth Powell here. . .I was just browsing nostalgically on the web, and thought I would see if you had a web site. . and you do! We want to add our comments for you do with what you will. We LOVED our stay at Felstead, and all your assistance, help, caring and kindness made our wedding something truly special, a memory we will always treasure. You went above and beyond the call, setting up a photographer, flowers, hair appointments, kilt rentals, even lending me your pearls. We are so glad that you are in our wedding photos! : ) When we saw the photos on the web site of the river, and the beautiful room in which we stayed, we felt enormous pangs. . .we hope to come back before too long. We would recommend your beautiful homes, and generous hospitality above any B&B in the UK. And please know, even though we haven't seen you in a long time. . .you are never far from our hearts, and vivid in our memories.
